The animations, code and design on this site are © Scott Weiner. All rights reserved, except as described below. Patrons and commission clients get a license to use the work; the copyright always stays with me.

You’re welcome to watch the pieces here and to share links or screenshots, as long as you credit me and link back to this site.
Please don’t download, re-host or record the pieces for reuse, and don’t copy the code, without my permission.
Patrons
Patron memberships are coming soon. These are the terms they’ll come with.
While your pledge is active, you can display any piece in installation mode, for personal or commercial use: at home, at parties and events, behind a DJ set, or in a venue or business.
That covers showing the pieces live from this site. It doesn’t include redistributing, re-hosting, recording or selling them, or modifying the code. When a pledge ends, so does the license to display.
Commission clients
I always keep the copyright to every piece I make, including commissions and their code. When you commission a piece, what you’re buying is a license to use it, not ownership of the work itself.
That license can be exclusive or non-exclusive, and the price depends on which you choose:
- Exclusive: the piece is yours alone to use. I won’t sell or license it to anyone else.
- Non-exclusive: you can use the piece, and I may also offer it to others, for example in the patron catalog.
The exact terms are set out in each commission agreement. If you supply the source image, it stays yours.
No warranty
This site and everything on it are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. I can’t guarantee that the site, or any particular piece, will always be available: pieces may be changed or removed, and the site may go down or change without notice.
To the extent the law allows, I’m not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or the pieces, including when they’re used at an event or in a venue.
